Blog post #5
If I was given more time to work on this project, I would definety want an inside quote from someone who works in prisons, or even interviewing someone who either has been or is incarcerated.
Blog Post #4
By the time of June 12, 2016, me and my partner Marissa were pretty much ready. We just had to write our scripts and have an over view of what we were going to say.
Blog Post #3
By the time of June 5, 2016, our passion project started becoming more easy and flexible. We started our power point and researching. I've learned a lot about Mass Incarseration and it's crazy to know that for so long in my life, I thought our system wasn't problematic.

PASSION PROJECT BLOG POST #2
One of my biggest concerns about this project is not being able to extend my thoughts, ideas, explanations (etc..) on this project. This is because my topic itself is heavy-handed in terms of research and I would love to take my time on it and really put my effort it in this, however, the deadline only makes it so that I have to be limited on what I choose to add on the project. That is really my only big concern, I want my project to be flawless in terms of presentation and value.
PASSION PROJECT POST #1
The passion that I chose to revise in my Passion Project is Mass Incarceration in the U.S. To me, this topic is extremely important in terms of the necessity for people to be aware of the huge flaws that are within our prison system. This project strongly appeals to me because it honestly shocked me to know that I had been living my life a very long time not knowing how awful and corrupt the entire prison system is. This passion speaks to my values as a person in terms of knowing that my knowledge about this issue will increase and this information will help me as a person to make differences for our nations future.

Black or White Dj Khaled Meme
The meme we used for this fallacy project is of DJ Khaled. Everyone this school year
has come to know who DJ Khaled is through his popular and humorous snapchat stories. If you
don’t know who DJ Khaled is, chances are you haven’t been too invested in social media
in the last 6-8 months. One of DJ Khaled’s biggest quotes is “Join me on my journey to more
success.” DJ Khaled claims he holds all of the keys to success and that if you join him on his
journey to more success, you will come to be as successful, positive, and spirited as he is in life.
DJ Khaled speaks also about “they” as he refers to them, “they” being his haters. He repeats
the line “stay away from they” various times in his snapchat stories. This meme is suppose to
represent “black or white” fallacy/thinking in the sense that DJ Khaled saying “you either join
me on my journey to more success or you're on the side of my enemies” basically represents
black or white thinking. Many of his fans could choose not to follow him on his journey to more
success, but also not be considered “they” a.k.a his haters or enemies. This quote on our meme
is suppose to represent the phrase “If you’re not with me you’re against me” which leaves
no room for “grey” thinking. Black or white thinking leaves no room for other alternatives,
variables, or conditions that could result in a “grey area”.
